Step 5: The Healing Power of Forgiveness
Holding on to grievances, grudges, bitterness and resentment interferes with our ability to experience authentic health and wellbeing. And many of us have regrets…things we wish we could get a “do over” on. We understand the importance of forgiving ourselves and others and letting go of old hurts, but it’s easier said than done. We can’t just magically say, “ready, set…forgive!” And move on. Forgiveness is a process, but it doesn’t have to be ugly. It just needs to be authentic. You can’t fake forgiveness. Together we will use tools and techniques to support you in gently letting go and forgiving yourself and others.
